Ingredients
De-ionized Water:
Purified
water.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe):
The herb contains at least seven
antioxidant compounds that prevent the production of leukotrienes,
chemical agents of inflammation released by mast (white blood) cells.
Aloe gel releases natural salicylates, compounds related to aspirin,
and relieves pain as it encourages healing.
Heliantus Annuusate (Sunflower Oil): Carrier oil - stores well
under any condition but extreme heat.
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda): An absorbent for moisture and
odors.
Castor Oil: Carrier oil - stores well under any condition but
extreme heat.
Simmondsia Chinensisate (Jojoba): Carrier oil - because Jojoba
is not an oil but rather a wax, its shelf life and stability is
considerably higher then most oils and rancidity is very rarely a
concern.
Emulsifying wax NF: Adds stability.
Olive Leaf Extract:
One of nature's most effective
antimicrobial agents.
Lichen Extract:
A lichen is a moss-like plant that grows
primarily in cold and moist environments. It produces natural acids
that kills odor-causing bacteria.
Organic Limonoid Bioflavanoids:
Extracted from the seeds, peel
and pulp of the lemon, it exhibit antiviral, antibacterial,
antiparasitic, antioxidative, bacteriostatic, fungicidal, antiseptic
and disinfectant properties. It inhibits and eradicates odor-causing
bacterial. It can be ingested or used topically.
Cat's Claw Extract: Amazon herb with strong anti-oxidant
properties, clinically documented with immuno-stimulant and anti-tumour
capabilities. Italian researchers reported in a 2001 in vitro study
that cat’s claw directly inhibited the growth of a human breast cancer
cell. Another study group reported that it inhibited the binding of
estrogens in human breast cancer cells in vitro.
Cleavers Extract:
General detoxifying herb, astringent and
lymphatic system stimulant.
Burdock Root Extract:
There is considerable evidence in the
scientific literature that burdock root is a powerful
anti-inflammatory remedy. Its numerous antioxidants protect the liver
from toxic chemicals, allowing it to process the body's naturally
occurring steroids which is helpful in achieving hormonal balance. A
mildly bitter herb, it stimulates the release of gastric juices and
aids digestion. This combination of qualities explains its traditional
use in treating acne, eczema, endometriosis, psoriasis, and uterine
fibroids.
Citric Acid:
Citric acid is a very useful and effective
preservative, obtained from naturally occurring organic acids. It
exists in many different fruits and vegetables, but is especially
concentrated in lemons and limes.
Essential oils:
Extracted from plants, these oils contain
antibacterial, deodorant, and astringent properties. Essential oils
also add a scent.
Preservative:
Optiphen Plus (phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid)
